With two films accepted and premiering ( Fred and Carl are Park Rangers, and The Other Side of Charlie) this was a big year at the 2012 Silver Wave Film Festival to say the least. Both films screened Friday November 9th to an eager and receptive crowd with rave reviews. If that wasn't good enough we even took home a few awards.
Writer Ryan Griffith won the Lex Gigeroff Excellence in Screenwriting in a Short Comedy Award for Fred and Carl.
As well as Producers/Composers William Beatty and Joel M. Thompson took home the Excellence in Music Composition award for scoring Fred and Carl.
On top of that both Leah Holder and Warren Macaulay were nominated for Best Actress and Best Actor in a comedic short for Fred and Carl as well. Last but certainly not least was a Best Actor in a Drama nomination for Jake Martin in The Other Side of Charlie.
